On 24th March 2009, Filefronts parent company filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy and sacked all Filefront staff, removed the forum, and disabled the services.

This has had a crippling effect on most communities.. Bridge Commander is now based at BC-Central, who are desperately trying to store all of bcfiles files.

Similarly, here at star-trek-games.com/ , we are setting up shop here so we can store newly made mods and store as many of the legacy files mods as possible. the legacy sister sites, Team Exxperience and aftermath will also play a role in this.
